BREAKING: 98 Large Advertisers Are Pulling Their Ads Off Rage-Spewing Radio Shows

BREAKING NEWS: 98 large advertisers have decided to pull their ads from rage-spewing radio shows, reaching far beyond just Limbaugh. This group includes Ford, GM, Toyota, Allstate, Geico, Prudential, State Farm, McDonald’s, Subway, and many others.

This means we are winning, and winning big! Thanks to everyone who is helping to pull the haters down! Give yourselves a hand!

And before you start to worry about freedom of speech, as all of us good liberals do, please consider this: Haters are guaranteed the right to speak; they are NOT guaranteed a megaphone.

In Rush Limbaugh’s Thursday program, 77 of the 86 spots were Public Service Announcements

BREAKING: In Rush Limbaugh’s Thursday program, 77 of the 86 spots that aired were free public service announcements. Additionally, seven ads were from companies “in the process of pulling their spots.” This  leaves only two paid advertisements.

More Than HALF the spots on Rush Limbaugh Are Now Unsold: We Have Contact Info For Some Remaining Sponsors

BREAKING: More than HALF of the spots on Rush Limbaugh are now unsold. Empty slots are routinely given to nonprofits to make unpaid public service announcements. As the icing on the cake, one of the charities getting FREE advertising, The American Heart Association, asked not to appear on the Rush Limbaugh show in the future.

46 advertisers have now dropped Rush Limbaugh.

Another One Bites the Dust

ProFlowers announced on Sunday that it would no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh’s radio program.

“At ProFlowers, our mission is to delight our customers with fresh and long lasting flowers, and that is our singular focus each and every day,” the company said in a statement. “We do not base our advertising decisions to align with any particular political view or opinion as our employees and customers are as diverse as the USA. Mr. Limbaugh’s recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program.”

Carbonite Folds!

Latest Rush news. Carbonite is dropping the Limbaugh show. A day or two ago, the Carbonite CEO did a kind of partial apology with a “I will meet with Rush” thingy, and I guess he got hammered for it, cuz he has changed his tune.

“No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady.”

At least nine companies remain on the list of sponsors: ProFlowers, CARBONITE, Inc., Mid-West Life Insurance Company of Tennessee, American Forces Network, Mission Pharmacal Company, Life Quotes, Inc., Life Lock, Tax Resolution and AOL, (which is the parent company of The Huffington Post.)
